Palazzo Gattini in Matera

The architect Ettore Mocchetti did a wonderful job by using local material (e.g. mazzaro stone) and working together with local craftsmen to bring the beauty of this place back to life. The SPA occupies the lower floor of the Palazzo in caves excavated in the calcareous stone.
