Farmhouse Masseria Potenti near Manduria

This masseria is a magical boutique hotel in a traditional fortified farmhouse near Manduria. It is situated among the olive groves and vineyards, about 5km from the Ionian Sea.  The building guarantees a quiet and relaxing vacation, it is flanked by the original outhouses that have been converted into simple, chic guest accommodation, perfect for a romantic holiday.   The 17 rooms and apartments each have their own fireplace and private patio, and overlook the lush gardens full of flowers and fruit trees and the beautiful swimming pool. The “masseria” which is the name of a fortified farmhouse, also has a hammam and wellness centre.  The masseria was opened in 2009.  Refined chic is the essence of this Masseria, guests are encouraged to join in life on the farm, harvesting the crops, making bread and drying herbs.   The day starts with a delicious breakfast including homemade jams. Those cakes are even prepared using the farm’s own flour and eggs.  We would be happy to offer guided tours, excursions and activities. In the evening guests gather around the common table under the stars to enjoy a homemade meal of freshly harvested fruit and vegetables. There is no menu and the dishes cooked are based on what is in season on the farm. After dinner everyone enjoys traditional music and dancing.  This is a nice oasis because of its garden, solarium and swimming pool. For those seeking spa treatments, it is possible to book a massage. Guests could also hire a bike hire or rent a scooter.
