Car tour to an extra virgin olive oil producer and tasting for min. 4 persons

Your driver will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and then drive you to a farmhouse or an extra virgin olive oil producer, which is located in a stunning area of olive groves. Many of the olive trees on this grove and in the surrounding groves of the Agrarian Reserve of the area are up to a thousand years old, in a location that is within easy reach of local towns and the coast.

The farmhouse is surrounded by olive trees. Some of them are thousands of years old – some so old they are considered natural monuments. It is almost unbelievable how much these trees would have been through over the years and yet they have survived.

Some of the olive trees are so large that they cannot support their own weight and need help with inventive propping tools. You will learn more about how to be able to tell the difference between extra virgin olive oil of high quality and of not so high quality. You will also hear some interesting information about the history of Extra virgin olive oil production in Puglia. At the end of your visit, your private driver will take you back to your hotel.

An English Speaking Driver is not a guide. He will drive you during your journey, helping you to enjoy the experience of seeing the sights close-up. He will give you general information and take care of the practical details of your day itinerary by contacting your local guide, restaurant and escorting you safely to your hotel or cruise-ship after a day trip.
