Food, Music and Entertainment will be guaranteed during the event launched by the associations “Creativa” and “Rebeat” from Martina Franca, who have organized the event “Braci e abbracci” that will take place in Locorotondo from April 29th (from 19 to 24), on April 30th and on May 1st (from 11 to 24).The exact location in Locorotondo is the viale Olimpia (free entrance). Puglia’s excellent cuisine will be combined with the American barbecue technique. Come and taste the wonderful meat that will be prepared.
Man vs food
The fortunate person, who can eat the biggest Panino, will win. Experience Man vs. Food live from April 30th to May 1st from 12 to 16. The “Man vs food” competition made in the Itria Valley will be quite challenging, because in one hour the aim is to eat a panino of 3 kg e very big local specialty, the so-called Puccia, a real “megapuccia of 2,5 kg and a hamburger to eat in 40 minuti. Drinkers will also have a chance to win by drinking 2 liters of beer in one go.
Three days of events in the name of solidarity
Concerts, fun and sport will be part of the program in the “stadio comunale” in viale Olimpia. The event will start on April 29 with a DJ set presented by Sandro Toffi and some DJs of the Radio Manbassa. On April 30th at 17h the program is a triangle of the heart in Locorotondo to support the association “Giovanni Custodero” and the money raised will support reseachers. The participants will be the team “Amici di Giovanni Custodero”, the team Mudù and the team Virtus Locorotondo. At 20 h Umberto Sardella and Antonella Genca will perform their progrma and the big finale will start at 21.30h with a live concert performed by “Rockstar”, a band playing the best rock songs of all time. This will be followed by RumbaBeat and Checco Lione, known from “Avanti un altro”, and then you can look forward to “Vega 80”, playing 80th hit music live.Children will also have fun, because animation and games are planned, among them a game of “Bubble soccer”.For those events, you are kindly asked to make a reservation by calling 3928728164 or 3894203881.
